Why Aerial Photos Help Sell Property in the Eastern Province
· 3 min read · Madar Drone
Buyers in Dammam, Al Khobar and Qatif don't only ask "how big is the villa?" They ask how close it is to the corniche, the schools, the main road and the mosque. A ground-level photo can't answer that. A drone shot can, in one frame.
What aerial media shows that photos can't
Location and context: distance to the sea, parks, malls and main roads.
Plot size and layout: the full land, the garden, the pool and parking, seen from above.
The neighbourhood: how established and well-kept the area looks.
For projects: the scale of a compound or tower, and construction progress over time.
Video beats photos on social media
A short, smooth fly-over or fly-through stops people scrolling on TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat far better than a gallery of still images. You can see an example in our luxury villa shoot.
How to get the best results
Shoot at golden hour: early morning or just before sunset gives warm, soft light and long shadows.
Prepare the property: clean the roof and yard, park cars away and switch on lights for evening shots.
Plan the shots: a wide establishing shot, a slow approach, a top-down plot view and close orbits of the façade.
Keep it short: 30–60 seconds is ideal for social media, with a longer cut for the listing page.
